Description
Two halves of one sentence: her name on her half, and on yours the line 妈妈的名字，先于「妈妈」存在 — a name existed before it became a role. Tell us her name exactly as her household register writes it; we write out what we propose to brush and what each character means, and nothing moves until you reply and say yes, because a wrong character cannot be lifted off xuan paper. 12 × 24 cm per half, swallowtail cut, split seal across the join, companion card for a voice note in whatever dialect she actually speaks. We write names — we do not copy anyone’s handwriting and we do not reproduce a signature sent to us as a picture.
